ACEN DVDS!

Currently watching the test/sample DVD edited and burned by Adam. Unfortunately, due to technical issues, Harrison was unable to capture our preshow--which, I know, is extremely disappointing for all of us. However, the footage we do have looks quite good--not HD quality, certainly, but better than the balcony footage from January.

Once he and I have all the issues hammered out, I'll get official pricing information from him--I'm going to guess that LaserScribe DVDs (the kind the January footage was burned to) will run around $7 again; plain DVDs with sharpie labeling will likely be around $5 or so.

I'll happily cover the initial cost of buying them, but I'll definitely need cast members to pay me back as the DVDs are delivered. Money's tight these days, sadly.

Awesome!! I can't wait to see the show But, I have to admit, I am pretty bummed about the preshow not being recorded. Doesn't anyone anywhere have that on tape??

so I'm hoping SOMEONE will see and contact me saying they have a video of it.

I really do apologize for it. But, unfortunately, it was a choice between cutting the pre-show or the ending and I figured everyone would want the full show. Next time shall be better, I promise!

A question for the group--would anyone have issue with me doing a special "ACEN Special Edition" on my livestream channel? It would most likely be a one-time happening, not a regular occurrence, where I showed off the ACEN footage to my followers who weren't able to be at the convention.

I'm fine with it, just keep it kind of on the DL... the ACen people told me we don't have permission to put ACen footage on like YouTube... although when has that ever stopped anyone. Then again, we probably don't have permission to screen Repo! either... so, you know the drill

So, an update on the DVDs. The editing is completely finished and the footage is ready to be burned, but Adam currently has no media to burn them onto. Normally, I would pay him in advance for the DVDs and collect the money from you guys, but a recent unexpected explosion of one of my car tires has completely bankrupted me--the wheel was corroded onto the damn car, and I had to be towed to a tire store to get it changed.

As soon as I can afford to front the money for the DVDs, I'll happily do so. Alternatively, I can double-check pricing with Adam (I believe he said a basic DVD would cost about $10, as he's having his own financial hardships of late) and collect money from interested parties in advance. Let me know what's preferred.

I think I might have some blank DVDs if you need.. XD

otherwise, I'm fine with whatever. Either giving the money or waiting haha
